🌿 Problematic skin (acne) – what does it mean and how to take care of it?

Acne-prone skin is characterized by pimples, blackheads, inflammation, and often scars. It can be either oily or combination. The key is to use products that control sebum and inflammation without over-drying.

If you're starting now: a mini routine for problem skin

💡 Remember: persistence is key – don't expect results in 1–2 days.

Steps:

1. Cleansing – gel/foam with BHA (salicylic acid) or tea tree
2. Tonic/essence – with niacinamide, zinc, green tea
3. Light serum or ampoule – with centella, tea tree or propolis (for soothing)
4. Light cream - oil-free, non-comedogenic
5. SPF in the morning – non-greasy, light fluid

Age-appropriate care

• 20+ – regular care with BHA 1–2 times a week, light soothing serums
• 30+ – includes antioxidants (niacinamide, vitamin C) to reduce scars and pigmentation
• 40+ – if acne persists, recovery care: peptides, ceramides, scar products
