Collection: Oily Skin

🌿 Oily skin – what does it mean and how to take care of it?

Oily skin produces more sebum, which leads to shine, enlarged pores, and a tendency to breakouts. However, this is not a disadvantage – oily skin usually ages more slowly. The key is to learn to control it without over-drying.

If you're starting now: a mini routine for oily skin

💡 Remember: never skip hydration – dehydrated oily skin becomes even more problematic.

Steps:

  1. Cleansing – gel/foam with a light formula that regulates sebum
  2. Toner/essence – with niacinamide, green tea or witch hazel
  3. Light fluid/gel-like cream - without oils, non-comedogenic
  4. Sunscreen – gel or fluid with a mattifying effect

Age-appropriate care

  • 20+ – focus on sebum control, gentle exfoliation 1–2 times a week (BHA)
  • 30+ – add antioxidants (vitamin C, niacinamide), a light serum with zinc or green tea
  • 40+ – more hydration and barrier protection: serums with peptides, lighter night care
